Dear Church Family –
During this time we want you to stay connected, even though we may not see each other as much as we like. The temptation is going to withdraw, watch TV, spend to much time on Social Media … etc. But… We are people of hope and faith, not people of fear; nevertheless we understand that there may be some of us who are experiencing fear because we are human beings- thus we show grace and compassion. We are people of prayer, not people of panic- thus we go about with a spirit of seeking God and knowing that He is with us; nevertheless, there are common sense approaches that we should take during this time. We are people of love and mercy, not people of selfishness and greed – thus we share our resources with others who may being doing with out, trusting that God blessed us so that we could be a blessing. |
It is important during a time such as this to use it as an opportunity to draw closer to God and others (although we may not be physically present as much a normal).
